Dr. Dima Dandachi, MD, MPH, FIDSA

Dr. Dandachi is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia, division of Infectious Diseases. She is the medical Director of the HIV Treatment and Prevention Program at MUHC and She is the Medical Director of the Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services. She also serves as the lead facilitator on the HIV ECHO program. She is involved in multiple clinical trials related to HIV.

Philana Liang, PA-C, MPH, MSHS

Philana Liang graduated from Washington University with a BA in Biology. She obtained her MPH in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan. She worked as a Health Educator for the Johns Hopkins University and attended George Washington University’s PA Program. She served at the Baltimore City Health Department’s STD Clinic and the Johns Hopkins HIV Clinic. She now works as a PA for the Wash U ID Clinic and a Program Manager for St. Louis STI/HIV PTC.

Aditi Ramakrishnan, MD, MSc

Aditi Ramakrishnan, MD MSc is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Department of Medicine at the Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. She is a physician with training in HIV prevention and care, infectious diseases, medical anthropology, and clinical research.

Dr. Ramakrishnan’s research focuses on applying implementation science strategies to improve domestic HIV prevention and care, particularly for cisgender women. Drawing from her Masters in Anthropology and Masters of Science in Clinical Research, her work incorporates both qualitative and quantitative methods. Dr. Ramakrishnan is also passionate about improving equity in academic medicine, through both her research and co-founding “Equal Medicine,” a career development program for Internal Medicine women residents at University of Michigan.

She attends on the inpatient Infectious Diseases consult service, teaching fellows, residents, and students. She also sees patients in the Washington University Infectious Diseases clinic.

Dr. Ramakrishnan is a faculty member of the St. Louis STI/HIV Prevention Training Center and the Washington University in St. Louis Capacity Building Assistance Program which focus on improving HIV prevention and treatment and STI provider education and training. She also co-leads the Career Development sub-committee of the Executive Committee for Advancing Women in Academic Medicine.
